The facade of a building in Milan, Italy, has been ‘unzipped’ to reveal an eerie blue void inside.
Created for Milan Design Week, the facade is the latest in a series of large-scale architectural illusions from British sculptor Alex Chinneck, who’s renown for taking ordinary objects in urban environments and transforming them into surreal scenes, such as a house made of wax that melted down over time, or a brick facade that appears to be cracking open.
