New home building has lifted by almost one tenth over the past year, according to data released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
The latest figures show that the value of residential building increased by 1.7 in the June quarter, in seasonally adjusted terms. Residential building work done in the quarter is 9.1 per cent higher than at the same time last year.
