Melbourne tops Best Cities

Melbourne has taken out the top spot among Time Out’s 50 Best Cities in the world in 2026, Time Out Travel announced this week.

Not only did a whopping 94 per cent of locals rate the city’s food scene highly, while 92 per cent approve of its art and culture scene and 77 per cent recommend its nightlife, but Melbourne was also voted the third-best city in the world for Gen Z to live in.
