The money’s on pumpkins

Busy parents who find themselves caught short by Halloween are turning to a Texas entrepreneur for their decorations this year.

Heather Torres and her team at Porch Pumpkins put together pumpkin packages that range from US$325 (AU$495) to upwards of $1,000 (AU$1,524).

"I thought, 'Would someone else spend $1,000 on pumpkins?' And turns out, yes, yes, they would", she told Good Morning America, adding that this year she will be sprucing up more than 1300 homes.
