Value growth healthy

Home values around Australia continue to rise despite some disruption from lockdowns, a new report shows.

CoreLogic’s national index has revealed that values rose 1.5 per cent in August. This is the lowest monthly rise since January, yet remains well above average.

No change at the bank

Once again the Reserve Bank has made no change to interest rates this month, leaving the cash rate at the record low setting of 0.1 per cent.

While recognising current conditions, RBA Governor Philip Lowe said that the Board considers any setback to the economic expansion to be only temporary.

A bold choice of Spinach Green won both the Grand Prix Australia award as well as the Commercial/Multi Residential Exterior category for design studio SJB’s project in Beaconsfield, NSW.
