Following on the story of the Indian village relocated to support local wildlife, we thought it fitting to feature a new dwelling that can be transported on the back of a truck, ready to be placed anywhere.

ÁPH80, a range of sustainably designed portable homes from Spanish architecture firm ÁBATON, offers ample yet compact living with a bedroom, full bathroom and living room/kitchen.

Ideal for two people and easily transported anywhere by road, the outside is covered with cement wood board, the ventilated façade provides 12cm thermal insulation and the internal timber panels are made of hypoallergenic Spanish Fir.

The best part is, it takes 4-6 weeks to manufacture, one day to assemble and costs around AU$45K.
