If you wouldn't mind moving just a littleā€¦

It has been common practice around the world to relocate (or ignore) wildlife to make way for human infrastructure, but it seems India has begun to turn the tables in favour of its furrier tenants.

A month ago the Indian government offered packages to residents on the northern end of a tiger reserve to move from the land. Since then animals of all shapes, sizes and endangered statuses have been flourishing in the meadows, the Times Of India reported recently.

Once the 200 families moved out of the area, the forest department was able to free up 175 hectares entirely from human presence, allowing herds of bison, chital, sambar, nilgai, wild boars and tigers to return to the land.
