Planting the seeds for change

It's time once again to get back in touch with our roots. This Sunday events can be found throughout the community celebrating Tree Day (School Tree Day is today, so your children may already be participating in some green activities).

By participating and encouraging local plants to grow you're not only helping the environment and native animals, you’ll be helping reach the milestone of the 20-millionth seedling planted since Tree Day began in 1996!

It's easy to get involved by planting native trees, shrubs, grasses or an edible garden. All you'll need to do is decide what and where you want to plant, get the plants, and register your activities. There's even a chance to win an eco-luxury holiday!
