Selling? First, declutter

Selling your home can be a chore if you’re a hoarder. Having lots of ‘stuff’ around makes the house harder to keep clean, reduces the perception of space and available storage, and creates more work when it’s time to move out.

Here are five tips for a lighter load, easier sale and quicker move.

Marks on walls, be gone!

No matter how careful we are, scuff marks will invariably appear on the walls in our home. Here are three easy ways to remove them:

1. Wipe over the mark with a microfibre cloth dipped in a mix (1:40) of distilled white vinegar and water.
2. Make a paste (3:1) of baking soda and water, apply with a damp sponge then wipe off with a dry cloth.
3. Apply regular toothpaste to a soft brush and gently buff the mark. Wipe away with a soft damp cloth.

Pro tip: keep it natural

If your home is on the market, avoid using scented sprays or candles before or during a viewing. Not only could it appear you’re ‘hiding’ something, but many people find the smells offensive, while some may even be allergic.

The best way to freshen a room is to open the windows and have a vase or pot of flowers such as lavender, roses or freesias, strategically placed on a hall stand or side table.

160th 5 Star Review on Ratemyagent.com.au - Sellers of 8/4 Kates St Morningside

Never Give Up Attitude!

Brad kept us up to date every step of the way. After every inspection and after any correspondence with the buyer during the negotiations. Brad also went above and beyond to speak with the tenants about their lease and negotiate a vacate date with them that suited all parties. He also wasn't afraid to get his "hands dirty" to help clean up before the inspections!
We are so grateful for everything Brad & Danni has done to help us sell our investment property. This has allowed us to move onto another project to be able to build our family home.
Thanks Brad and Danni! :)

WHY WE CREATED A REAL TEAM

The reasons behind our vision!

It has always been a long term goal for Brad Sissons to create a truly unique selling or buying experience.  After spending years training and building sales offices, Brad started to see a very common re-occurrence – this was that you can never find the “Perfect Sales Person” as we all have our strengths and weaknesses.   To fulfill his vision, which is to offer the buying and selling markets in Queensland a truly enjoyable real estate experience.  This has been created by focusing on SERVICE and walking both buyers and sellers through what is normally a stressful time.

By finding the right people and joining them together, which is not just a quick and easy process, we were able to harness a set of core skills, market knowledge, customer service, experience & marketing ability.

The end result was The Brad Sissons Team!

We truly believe we offer what many agents say they offer BUT our point of difference is that we deliver on what we say.  By working longer, harder but more importantly smarter than the majority of the industry, we are able to offer our clients a happy and enjoyable buying or selling experience.

Our main priority is always in securing our sellers the highest and strongest price in any market condition and for any type of property, whether you have a $250,000 unit or a $5,000,000 water front home, it does not matter, everyone deserves to have a skilled selling agent who is out there working for them! The seller!

With the ability to bring well over 10 years’ experience working in the industry and selling any type of real estate (land, houses, units, town houses, shops, commercial, off the plan and development sites) all over the Greater Brisbane Region, you can rest assured that you will be in very good hands!
