Houseplants with heart-shaped leaves

Just in case you have forgotten (or missed all the signs!), this Friday is Valentine’s Day. So we have decided to take a look at houseplants with heart-shaped leaves – a last-minute shopping list for the perfect gift for your loved one.

Possibly the most romantic is the Anthurium, which not only has heart-shaped leaves, but takes it up a notch by producing heart-shaped flowers in pinks and reds.

Other houseplants with heart-shaped foliage include the delicate Cyclamen or the more robust English Ivy, Hemionitis (‘the Heart Fern’) and Monstera Deliciosa. With a little care and water, any of these will be a lasting reminder of your devotion - Happy Valentine's Day!
